Just a question, Chico gets a red card, is sent off and a penalty is awarded. The score in the match is 1-0 to Swansea when Chico leaves the pitch. Chico goes from 6 points to -1....2 points for letting a goal in and -3 for the red card. Even though he was the cause of the penalty, the penalty was not scored while he was on the pitch. Should he not have had a clean sheet?

Just curious. (And upset that he got sent off....lol)

no rules say sent off players still get penalised for goals, so for example if palace went on to score 2/3 more goals, then he could lose more points.

No. Red card means he still loses points defensively. If Palace got a second he would lose another point.

Red card is not the same as getting subbed

My understanding, if a player is sent off, they are still liable for goals scored after they have left the pitch, if they are subbed, then they are not.

No. Any dismissals accrue the same negative scoring as if he had played the full 90 minutes for goals conceded.
If they let in another goal, he'll go to minus 2. And if they let in 2 more after that, he'll go to -3 etc.

In fairness, I can't complain. I narrowed it down to Ade or Sturridge so at least picked the better of those two.

Yep, agree. It would have been sturridge for the captaincy. It's annoying to see those that put a lot less thought into to the captaincy pick Suarez but most of the top competition were going with differentials this week anyway

65 plus maybe a bonus for Dawson. Chico seeing red cost me but still 65 is not a bad return. Will probably drop in some leagues and stay static in others. Hopefully not too many red arrows. Really disappointed in Lennon, if he had taken any of the 6 or 7 opportunities that were presented to him it could have been even better.

55 points. Will be up to 57 if Ade gets bonus. Seems to be lower than a good few here so hopefully I don't drop any further in the rankings.

Ince and Noone going missing today though means I could be down to 8 players next week and not ten as I expected.

So much went wrong this week it's just not funny. Probably my most disappointing of the season.

Ade captain. Ince. Olsson. Noone. Not one clean sheet. Even Benteke who I gave up on laat week and sold for Ade had to add insult to injury.

Mainly though the 60+ lead on my league leaders which id pulled by to 25 or so shoots back out to 50.

FPL, It's not me, it's you. I think I need some space and to see other people. Consider us on a break.
