Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

One chance, just give me one more good chance.

City are asking for this to finish 2-2. They are letting Sunderland back in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Can see Sunderland nicking one. City have backed off about 5-10 yards allowing Sunderland back in it.

Shame to see so many empty seats in the toffs section.

    Corporate monkeys!

They would have known the ticket sales, so why not offer a percentage of remaining tickets to underage teams in both Sunderland & City.

    Why not?

At least the seats would be put to good use by people who would appreciate them.

City to get the Capital One curse and be relegated with the Cup.

    :)

1 team (Birmingham) does not equal a "curse".

Didn't Middlesbrough go down after winning it too?

    3 - 1 Feck. :(

**** that Dean. That should have been a free kick at the other end.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    Very harsh on Sunderland.

Here comes 4-1, edit LOL Negredo

  • Site Banned Posts: 4,925 ✭✭✭Agueroooo

Moral victories and all but Poyets done feck all wrong.

    Sunderland are in safe hands.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Why's Negredo doing that? No need really.

They'll probably be favourites to win the Championship I'd say.

Sunderland have done everything they could have; barring the second goal, the difference has been City's better players in the final third.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,887 ✭✭✭✭klose

Bah! Unlucky sunderland, well played but city simply have too much firepower. Hopefully city continue the trend of late of teams going to pieces after winning the league cup.

    No, they finished 11th.

Felt sorry for Poyet after that Fletcher crapfest.

Fletcher is definitely carrying a knock. He's not moving freely at all.

    YESSS! :D:D

First trophy to us, a poor side. :D:D

Can't criticize Sunderland at all really, good performance all around. We just had too much individual talent for them

Well done to City, but credit to Sunderland for a good contest, particularly in the first half.

Hardluck sunderland, money wins through in the end unfortunatly

Corporate monkeys out on the pitch trying to get the players to hold some advertising flags.

Look how happy Man City fans are now. They've seen their team win the league. Look at them now. Take note, Premier League managers.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

Well played Sunderland. City won but were scrappy for 75 mins + of the game, their better finishers (Nasri , Yaya) won it for them.
If they're stuck without Yaya or Aguero on the rest of the league run in they might struggle. Dzeko was god awful and Demichelis is a huge liability.

Yeah. That first goal from €50 was a decent hit.

Just kicked the ball away when there was really no need to. Not the worst thing to do but pointless.

Yes! Step one complete. Delighted with the character from the lads to get back into the game. So often has it happened that the game would stale out for us after a shock early goal. Well done lads!!

When I think of the money they are on, these professionals, and then some of them are terrified of using their weaker foot. Ridiculous.

What did Demichelis do wrong? It was Kompany at fault today.

Yes and city wouldnt have that quality if it wasnt for the bottomless pit of money they inherited

Commiserations to Sunderland but fair play to City, definition of coolness. They never really looked worried 1-0 down.

Unlucky to Sunderland but if they play like they did in the first half they will definitely be staying up this year which is more important. Congratulations to City too, good second half effort and happy for Pellegrini.
