    Hi there,

I'm just writing to all of you lot to ask you where the best place to go to get a few parts of a car fixed in Louth?

it's mostly 3 parts of the car need replacing, so somewhere with a competitive rate would be nice!

I have no experience in this. Does the panel beater assess damage first etc?

    Thanks! :)

    Where in Louth?

Of course the panel beater would need to see the damage before pricing a fix!

I suppose the mid to north Louth region.

And yes, it was a bit of a daft question. I'd like someone ideally to come and look at the car himself here as opposed to me driving this "yolk" up to him :P

There's a new place next door to East coast Alloys in Ardee.

I've used Brendan O Brien to fix up my Rav4 and was happy. Found him affordable and sound enough. He's just outside Drogheda town.

He's on Facebook under the name "Bob Panel Beater".

A few before and afters. Very pleased with the panel beater's work. In the photo it looks like the nudge bar is a different shade to the bumper. Very odd. It's identical in reality. confused.png

    But anyway;

    Nudge Bar sprayed:

Rear Bumper Fix (it's a little dirty in the 'after' photo, but it's brand new looking)

And I don't actually think I have a 'before' for the mirror inserts/trim/whatever it's called, but here's the after:

All in all a very happy camper. biggrin.png

Cheers guys, I'll have a look at these places and see what they can do!

I take it they'd have tow trucks to take cars away to get fixed? There's a bit of front damage on the car so it wouldn't be road worthy prior to getting her fixed up.

Well I know that the chap I used ("bob panel beater") came and looked at my car to give a price when I first used him (it was on a Focus at the time) and he was sound enough about it.

But I reckon towing would be on your own shoulders with him. I'm sure he knows a few people that'd be able to do it for you, but you'd be paying for it extra either way.
