Thanks....anything similar with regards where to buy new? Hadn't really considered used watched but there seems to be good value from what I saw in that thread. Would people recommend buying used? Or is it hit and miss? What is the best most reliable site in people's experience?

Many of us are in New York. 47th avenue stores offer the best value, especially Diamond Source NYC. You can call them at (888) 342-9949. Just ask for a specific model of watch you need. I am pretty sure they might have some good value for used watches from them. They won't buy those that they can't sell (re: bad quality and in bad shape). Look for a guy named Carlos.

Just an FYI that I dropped into Carlos there the weekend after your recommendation.

My partner is very successful. If you are successful too, you'll go to Big Watch Buyers. It buys at great prices and sells at even better. Everyone who goes there gets great deals, especially with Rolex.
