    Hey guys,
    Looking for a nice hotel for weekend away for myself and wives first anniversary.
    Looking for good value as well. Would be hoping for under 200 for two nights.

    The Maryborough Hotel are doing a promotion at the moment. 149 euro for two people for 1 night, prosecco and strawberries in chocolate on arrival, breakfast, a four course meal at their Bellini's Restaurant. You have an option to pick a second night, not sure how much. Maybe give them a ring or check out the website. Nice spot and good value imo.

    The River Lee hotel is very nice and in the city centre. Not sure of how dear it is though.

    Probably a little over budget and in skibereen but "cottages for couples" are worth a look. Very romantic. Their self catering but they have a list of menus from places that deliver.

    Thanks so much for the replies. We are looking at the clarion, looks nice and got good reviews.
    190 euro for 2 nights no breakfast but that's for a Friday and Saturday night

    Some lovely restaurants there too by the water, Club Brasserie and Oysters are lovely.
