    I have done a search but come up with nothing, is there a Mountain Walking expo on anywhere or was there? If you know of one, could you put up a link please?

    To the best of my knowledge there is nothing as specific as you mention.

    Mountaineering Ireland have a Spring Meet, which may be the closest to what you are looking for - http://tinyurl.com/povco35.

    Otherwise join up to Outsider Magazine - http://outsider.ie/Home - where you will get notified if something like that was to happen.

    Try the next general outdoor adventure show that is hosted.
