Hi myself and partner purchased a property in 2012. Last monday we recieved an email from another solicitor firm stating that there was still work outstanding and that we had to make more payments. I am just wondering has anyone else who used this solicitor in question had the same problem. We have proof of everything we paid and i dont think we should have to pay again anybody with any info will help please thanks

Start by getting your own solicitor to look at things for you.
Without all the facts and limited by a bar on legal advice on Boards we would only be guessing.

There was a report in the paper early last week about this. Someone purporting to be a solicitor is sending out these letters.

Call the law society - they will be able to tell you.
