    Hi, 

    Can you let me know the process for cancelling an Electric Ireland account for a recently deceased relative?

    Hi WATPOAE,

    Thanks for your message, and sorry to hear if a relative of yours recently passed.

    In this case we would just need details of whoever is taking ownership of the account going forward (e.g. an executor, or the property's new owner), and we can transfer the account into their name.
