Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

are those ipod much of a bargain for 170?

    64GB

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 167 ✭✭bobgaf

Got the Belkin laptop case. It comes in two colour variants according to the label - jet/red ( black and red as per the image ) and chocolate/tourmaline ( a bleached black/light blue combination ). I got the chocolate/tourmaline version and it may not be to everyone's liking if you were expecting the jet/red version. But it's a decent bag for the price.

Good price for 64GB. Only problem is the 4th gen is quite old now. Its three years old. Its not upgradeable to the IOS 7.0.6. But if you want it just for music and not apps then its a good deal.

Of course you could just get a Sansa Zip and 64GB MicroSD card

Does anyone know if the Ms Office license valid for one year or is it ongoing?

This is not a subscription, the licence doesn't expire. In fact, if you replace your computer for any reason, you can reuse the licence.

    Says 4G => 4th gen.
    Latest is 5th gen

No thats the 5th generation. You can see them both here

    http://store.apple.com/ie/browse/home/specialdeals/ipod

    4th gen 32gb is 189
    5th gen 32gb is 239

But remember the 4th gen Ipod touch is a Single Core same as the iPhone 4.
So its quite old. At some point soon-ish they drop it off the support list for the app store. Then you'll only be able to install older versions of apps (if you can find them).

If its just for music and not apps it doesn't make any difference.

Just bought that myself and have noticed that the full €14.99 has been deducted from my account. Did this happen you and do the refund the €10 or how does it work?

No only €4.99 was taken. You should give them a call.

I was looking at the photo which appears to be the latest model but it is obviously not the one they are selling.
