After Hours: Banned

I have been banned on After Hours for supposedly being aggressive. Yet I have been accused of being clueless, having a "pish" argument, having less knowledge than a seven-year-old child and various other insults. Not a single one of those that insulted me has been banned. Please explain why I am banned but they are not.

Either my ban should be quashed, or they should also be banned. I have no issue with me being banned, should admin deem it a reasonable decision. However, at the moment this smells of a clique decision.

If a reasonable resolution is not found, I will request deletion of my Boards account and will not use your services any further.

As far as I can see, any insulting posts were dealt with by way of mod actions. I am not at liberty to discuss other posters sanctions with you.

I don't understand how you came up with the "Clique decision" comment. I can assure you this is not the case.I can also assure you is that it comes across very strongly of you winding up other posters on more than a few occasions.

To move on a little, I would like to discuss the contents of the PM's.

When a mod uses the phrase "Being a dick" "dickish" or nearly anything dick related when describing a post, it always relates to this.

Some may say it shouldn't be used. But that is a debate for another place and time. It has deep roots in internet folklore.


Through the PM's I can clearly see your frustration. I also see a mod who tired to clarify a position to you. A difficult task when you have it in your mind that it was a cliquey call.

After weighing up all the information available to me, I can't see any fault in the mods decision. At this moment I can see no reason to over turn that decision.

However,the ball is in your court. I would like you to think about what I have said. We may reach middle ground yet.

I feel I have been turned on numerous times by the members of this forum. This has clearly always been tolerated. It has been noted that generally speaking these users have posted thousands of times on this site. Subsequently it is self evident that a clique runs through this site. If bad mouthing by frequent users is tolerated, relatively new users are treated like ****e and any defence by the new users is slapped down then its clear that there is an old boys system to this forum. This is particularly the case when it is ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that not a single one of those who insulted me has been dealt with, moreover they've been applauded. I also suggest that xenophobia has a role to play in all of this. It is revealing that I, !Taffy! Kat have suffered sanctions but no-one else has. I therefore request you delete my account as I will not be using this forum any longer. I also refuse to apologise for responding to the insults of others by pointing out their orthographic errors, as it was a way of discrediting their unprovoked attacks. Quite honestly I find this a pathetic excuse of a bigotted, cliquey, old boys club, and may I add xenophobic, forum.
