    Some positive news:)

Following and invitation from the FDNY EMS Pipes & Drums to the NAS Pipes & Drums band which was accepted, the NAS Pipes & Drums Band will be leaving Dublin next week to play a series of parades to celebrate St.Patricks Day in the USA.

Both bands will join forces to form one Band of brothers (and sisters). The first stop will be Albany for their annual celebrations and parade.
Next stop is Eastchester for their parade and celebrations. Three nights in New York City with the highlight of performing in the St.Patricks day parade in New York City.

A wreath laying ceremony will take place at the WTC memorial where both bands will play and a slot on one of the NY radio station with interviews and some tunes to be played.

The best of luck to the NAS Pipes & Drums, I hope the threatened strike has zero impact on your plans.

Here's a link to some of the tunes the band has been learning for the trip
