Just received a call to say that my order for the ipod touch was cancelled.
Pretty poor form after payment was taken from my account yesterday. I understand there will be a refund but disappointed all the same that it reached the stage of taking payment.

many thanks for the Post and apologies for the dleay getting back to you.

I have reserved the SR5007 for you as 1st in the queue but can you send us a PM or a mail with your contact details as soon as possible or I'll open it to the next Boardie.

On the speaker front you could could use the Pioneer SHS100 as a starter kit at just £99.95, but really the SR5007 deserves at least the Tannoy TFX 5.1 system which is £239.95 ( http://www.richersounds.com/product/speaker-packages/tannoy/tfx-5.1/tann-tfx5.1-blk ) but if you are buying it with the Marantz SR5007 I'll do the whole package at just £499.95 ( which is less than the SR5007 was on its own!!!)

apologies for that - I have asked the guys to give you a full refund plus £5 for the inconvenience and you are 1st in the list if there are any cancellations ( I have 2 provisionals who have PM'd us before you that we have been trying to reach unsuccessfully)

We do try to be open and, we have screwed up on this one, but we have refunded you plus 10% and if we get a cancellation or if I gan get my grubbies on another iTouch, you will be 1st in the line.

Just came back to say the customer service was great. Got a phone call to confirm details - some time later I ordered speakers on the website, without even thinking of combined delivery. Needless to say I got another phonecall as one of the guys spotted the address is the same for 2 orders and offered me a discount as the delivery cost was lower.

There was a mistake in an address so I called back to change it and received an updated receipt with a correct address on it 3 minutes later:eek:
It was all posted to me the same day, too.

This is how you do business, looking forward to have the goods delivered.

On a side note you should have offered me some cables when you called - I totally forgot and at this stage I will buy them elsewhere. If you asked I would buy them from you:D

Are there any of the VSX423 left? Also the Denon Denon SCN-7 Bookshelf Speakers (Black)? How would the Denon's compare to the the Roth Oli RA 1 or RA 2, just for tv usage and some music. Thanks as always!
