Sorry, should have said for domestic use, 2 cameras would be fine.

you could buy 2 fairly decent IP camera's and some software to run on a pc.

you will just about be a decent DVR for €200 and getting cheap stuff will be a waste even crap cameras look good daytime but will be useless at night as KUB said you get what you pay for
