Help with playing video files from my NAS

    Hi,

I posted in the terrestrial forum but this forum may be more appropriate.
I have my movies stored on a Synology NAS. I can access all my files and play them through my Smart TV. However, I really want to play them back through an Alien Amiko STB that is connected to my amplifier.
I am using Enigma 2 on the STB. I have mounted the NAS. I can listen to the music i have stored, no problem.
I can find the movie directories but there does not appear to be any file to play.
I get lost with DLNA, CIFS and other such terms.
    I am running Windows 7
