Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
When looking at the lenovo site to configure a t440p - there are 4 options for fingerprint readers:

    •Fingerprint Reader / w NFC
    •NO Fingerprint Reader / w NFC
    •NO Fingerprint Reader
    •Fingerprint Reader

anyone want to hazzard a guess at what ' / w NFC' means -
(I know what NFC means - but does it mean with NFC or Without NFC)?

I tried calling - but they are closed until Monday!!

My reading of the options on the Lenovo site suggest the fingerprint comes standard with NFC, however if you want it without NFC deduct $,

cheers - thats what my take on it was based on the price deduction - however /w would normally mean with.

fyi - for others - the cheaper one is fingerprint reader + NFC (according to the rep) - will know for sure in couple of weeks!

Just received my S440 which came standard with the finger print reader, awesome and so easy to use. Hope yours works out as well.
