Year off before intern year

    I was wondering, is it at all possible to take a year off when I graduate, before intern year? Would it mess up the intern matching scheme or something? I'm only in 4th year undergrad, so an issue for next year really.

    dont think it would be an issue to re-apply the following year as long as you didnt miss any of the deadlines....your centile ranking will still stand as far a i know! think most people finish intern before travelling as it would be possible to pick up locum work etc but without intern completed it wouldnt be possible
