Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Folks, I am planning to visit L.A. with my two sons (21 and 17) in June. Was going to splash out and hire a Mustang convertible. Was thinking of spending maybe 2-3 days in L.A. and then head off with the 'top down'. Anyone got a list of places to see. And just one specific question : do I need to book accommodation if I'm going on a road trip, or is accommodation readily available.

Very little to do in LA.

Head out to Santa Monica, then head up the Pacific Coast Highway (Route 1) towards San Francisco.

The most beautiful scenery and drive ever. Featured in many a movie and TV ad. Stunning.

Hearst Castle is on the way, well worth a visit. Pacific Coast Highway is real Americana. LA isn't.
