Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a Phillips big back tv and the volume button on the remote doesn't work anymore :( If I get a universal remote I presume that will work to turn the tv volume up?

Do you have Sky or UPC? The remote for the decoder should be able to do the TV volume as well.

Most universal remotes will handle your TV no problem.

No. I have an ariva combo box and have the volume turned up all the way on that and am still struggling to hear it.

Thanks Byte - just wanted to check before i went and bought one.

Set the volume to the midpoint on the Ariva remote, then use the buttons on the side or front of the Philips TV to turn the volume all the way up, you can then adjust the volume using the Ariva remote.

Thanks, because I this i discovered the volume button on the tv...I had thought there wasn't one as there isn't any at the front or on the side, but there was a strange circle on top of the tv. I had thought it was decorative until just then and sure another, touching the left & right hand side of the circle works the volume! thanks a million :)
