African Pygmy Hedgehog

    Hopefully this is the right forum! Anyone know any breeders/stores that sell Pygmy Hedgehogs? There's some on Done Deal but looking to get one while young.

    One of the shops at the back of aldi on long mile road in dublin had 1 left up till last Saturday. And uncle mikes pet world sells them too thats in co. Tipp.

    expensive little un's!!

    Do you know the name of the shop? I looked it up and there's PetCo and Purrfect pets around there, not sure which one though. I could give them a ring and ask are they getting more in.

    I'm assuming that lad means PetCo, as they always stock exotic animals like that. Another pet shop which often has them is Shauna's Pet Shop on Capel Street, I know the owner personally, and I can tell you, if you buy an animal from Shauna's it will have been looked after well, they've got a Facebook page, so you could give them a message to see if there's any in stock. Or if you're close to Davy's Pets in Carlow, the owner should be able to order you one in if he hasn't got any in stock, they also have a Facebook page.

    I actually found PetCo's Facebook page last night and gave them a message. They have a 1 male still in stock so I should be heading up later this week or next week. Cheers for the info, I'll keep that in account!
