Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Finally got myself a Ktm 990 smt in the 2013 black/orange colours.
    Been after one for ages and ended up importing this one from Germany.
    Bought over by overlanders, who I cant recommend enough, they are really superb.
    Anyway, this is the new beast, very, very happy with it so I am.... :D

    Cracking looking bike Terry. Any chance of a brief description on how you went about buying from Germany? Garage or private seller? language barrier? Much savings on cost?

    Howdy. Yeah sure, I will pm you some details on all that when I have a bit of time tonight if thats ok?
    It worked out well tho, private seller, no language barrier really, price of the bike was good, tho with vrt and transport I probably paid a little over the odds, but then I knew that going into the deal, vrt tho expensive and probably illegal is hardly a surprise to anyone, unless they havent done their research. Transport was by overlanders and price was superb as was the service.

    Yep no panic. Im a good while off upgrading my bike so was just wondering about the in's and outs of importing :)
