Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bring Moses on to run at Rafael as it doesn't really matter if he does him, then once he is sent off we can sub Moses for a decent player.

Deliberate hand ball used to be a straight red!

It wasn't deliberate, he put up his hand because he wanted to catch Suarez who was running at him and the ball bounced up on him. I don't think it'd be a yellow if it happened in midfield but obviously the box is different...

I'm even more nervous since Liverpool went ahead.

There is intent to our attack at all. Just passing it around until we lose it.

Such a soft three points to hand over. Liverpool fans will be reminding us of this defeat for a long time to come.

    Glazers Out!

Flanagan and Rafael are already walking a tightrope. Gerrard should be okay with this ref

Tim Howard seems surprised that away teams are able to have so much possession at Old Trafford. :pac:

Ah I can't agree with you there! It was a deliberate hand ball all the way for me!

how so soft three points. Should you not be losing?

Well United have to turn it around again, how often have we heard that this season without it happening

1 shot on goal, like the game at Anfield where we just looked clueless when attacking

It really has been far too easy for Liverpool out there in terms of getting the ball and while in possession of it, they have not really clicked in attack and but for the penalty may have come to regret that.

Moyes needs to change it but doing so and going for it may well play into Liverpool's hands.

Giving away a stupid penalty is what I meant. Your side are ahead, do you want me to say you've been amazing so far when you've just been average and.we've been poor?

    Glazers Out!

Liverpool look like a team, United clueless

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Much better team in the first half, hopefully Clattenburg rectifies his mistake in the 2nd half. Liverpool doing well of coping with United's change in tactics of not waiting to get to the byline before crossing it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,066 ✭✭✭Washington Irving

Good stuff. More worried about Clattenberg than United to take the game from Liverpool.

    That'll do I suppose.

Utd have to score twice and while they can do that the amount of space they will leave at the back unless both goals come from a set piece means Liverpool will always have chances to score again.

Deserved leaders at half time but it really is a game that next goal the winner.

game is screaming out for Coutinho in the hole, but would hold off til around 70min

Worried about the yellows for Flanno and Gerrard, being honest.

Can't afford a sending off here.

    Easy for Liverpool so far.

Rooney's first touch isn't near the level needed for his position, even dropping RVP deeper would be an improvement at this stage.

Have to agree, will mean Flanno will be hesitant about challenges or 50/50's now

Still beating them even though Suarez is having a mare. I'd nearly hook him!
Henderson needs to up it too.

Sad seeing a player like Mata there isn't it. Feel sorry for him.

Suarez is playing alright lads. Just cause he's not completely tearing them apart doesnt mean he's playing badly.

After not sending Rafael off. It will really have a be a bad tackle to get a 2nd.

Aye. Could already see the shift in attack down that side once he was booked. United were able to get at us far more because of that.

And when Gerrard is also on a yellow and is the DM coming over to support Flanno more often than not, its just all a little too risky for my liking.

Why is Suarez having 'mare? Could have had two assists and won a peno. He's doing alright for the team.
