Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

United I would imagine. Liverpool would still be in a good position even if they lose. A United loss and Moyes would be getting it in the neck again big-time.

I'd say it's be OK provided Moyes doesn't start Valencia and Cleverly and then lose.

It's actually not that big a game for united bar the rivalry. A loss doesn't really change their season much.

It'd be tough for Liverpool though.

    going 2-1 to united :)

3 bets tomorrow as well 1st goalscorer at 19/1 the great juan mata
and 2nd bet united to win 2-1 :)
3rd bet of mata 1st scorer and united to win 2-1

Is that 19/1 for mata to score first? Great odds if it is. 9/1 on ladbrokes. I rarely go with first goal scorer bets, think the odds do be fairly ridiculous.

    I've changed my mind.

Liverpool to win by one goal.

    I've gone for these:

    Liverpool to win 3-1 @ 22/1
Sturridge to score 2 or more @ 15/2
    Liverpool win, BTTS @ 4/1
Liverpool to score in the first half @ Evens

Liverfools are still weak at the back, however I fear there counter-attack. I think we will have alot of possession which will lead to this unless we do something with it. Fellani has to start it's a perfect game for him.

if there is a god, he will start, sure he is on fire after last week:pac::pac::pac::pac::pac:

Off to the pub for me at 12, Gona be a long days boozing. Hopefully we do the job and get the win. Il be online later.

I'm more nervous about the team selection than the actual match.

If he picks the unholy trinity (Cleverly Young Valencia) then we could get battered.

No its not true, it's only 3 points at the end of the day.

I've a horrible feeling that a red card or a stupid refereeing decision is going to decide this game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Well I've had my monster fry.
    My game face is in.
Getting ready to hit the boozer.
    It'll be a good day.

Truth be told I'd take a draw but I think Liverpool have too much up top.
As we all know form goes out the window though.

Stupid refereeing decisions are deciding a huge amount of games these days, it's just magnified in this type of fixture because if the result doesn't go their way each set of fans will bitch and moan about it for the foreseeable future.

3-1 United. Mata, van Persie x2, Sturridge

    Lotto numbers to follow...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,347 ✭✭✭✭Grayditch

I think it's time I did my combined 11. I'm not 100% sure how to do this, cause when I combined them, I only ended up with a 5-a-side, but here goes...

Brad Lindegaard - The real unsung hero between the sticks. Don't mind the other two, brutal they are, this mash-up in nets for me, thanks very much.
    RrhHoGq.jpg

With my eyes fixed on the D, now it's gotta be experience meets brawn, and no better man to step in than Aggerio.
    Z75qK3T.jpg

Moving swiftly onto the midsection; the muscles from Brussels (or.. wherever) with just enough Scouse Powerhouse. Lads and ladies, meet Stevie Felaini.
    Epwmez4.jpg

We need a dodgy runner with the ability to win free kicks no matter, step forward Ashley Henderson.
    ySLPVkP.jpg

Up next the team is crying out for a young English front section with modern haircuts and goal celebrations, I give you Danny Danbeck.
    LIPD8Ys.jpg

And when all else fails... when the chips are down and you don't have enough goals which make more goals then the other team's goals, there is only one man you can call in to even the score, or hopefully go beyond that and get more than an even score...

    The unstoppable... super sub...

    Luis Van Pooney

This team should have no trouble brushing aside Mancheverton City FC, so do!

Nah. United may score as well, you know.:p

This is the first time i have had a reasonable degree of confidence that Liverpool can win at OT in a good few years.

    Cue us losing badly:(

If your team is winning with a few minutes to go, don't forget to say "There's no way we're going to hang on here :(" so that your post will dictate the outcome of the match.

You should see the ones that didn't survive the transformation.

The Skrtel / Phil Jones one was unusable...

Cant fcuking wait for this. It should be a slobberknocker and Man Utd will be right up for it. I'm gonna stick my neck out and say 2-1 Liverpool (Sturridge, Gerrard)

God I hope so. He seems clueless enough to completely ignore what happened Arsenal and actually go for it from the off. MOAR CROSSSSES!

If United can win the midfield battle they have IMO, collectively better forwards than Liverpool.
The problem has been chance creation, you can't score goals if you're not getting opportunities.

You don't think van Persie, Rooney, Mata and Januzaj are "excellent attacking options"???
