Sugar paste wedding cake topper!

    Right people... I need a wedding cake topper made as someone let me down with it..

    Can anyone recommend someone who is really good with sugarpaste?

    They aren't sugarpaste (sorry!) but a friend of friend of a friend makes really cute clay toppers

    I was going to suggest a clay topper too. I had one made for my daughter's communion cake, as I can't model that well. I used http://www.caketoppers.ie/

    It is a great keepsake.

    We used a woman in mahon to make our wedding cake. Lee Rourke was her name. Not sure if shes still doing them or even still about bit she was very good.
    The detail was fantastic. She had the whole bridal party on the cake and went into details like hair colour for everyone, glasses for the best man and even matched the dress and suit colours. None of which we asked for so it really made the cake stand out. It tasted pretty good too.
    She would be well worth looking up in the phonebook or golden pages to see if shes available.
