when is the best time to go to Albufeira?

Hi, My siblings and I are looking at booking a week in Albufeira with our folks for our dad's 60th. We can't decide whether to go the first week in september or the first week in October. October is so much cheaper but I'd be worried that there mightn't be much of a scene around the place then. We don't want a mad holiday…

Hi, My siblings and I are looking at booking a week in Albufeira with our folks for our dad's 60th. We can't decide whether to go the first week in september or the first week in October. October is so much cheaper but I'd be worried that there mightn't be much of a scene around the place then. We don't want a mad holiday but would like to be able to have the choice to go to night clubs or just relax in the old town at a nice restaurant or bar. When would be the more practical time for us to go in this case?
