Former New Found Glory guitarist Steve Klein was arraigned on charges including lewd conduct with a minor and possession of child pornography in December 2013, it has been revealed.

Billboard reports that Klein, who was asked to leave New Found Glory the day after his arraignment, appeared in San Luis Obispo Superior Court on December 12 last year where charges of two counts of lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 14, three counts of lewd conduct with a minor aged 14 or 15, one count of intent to commit a lewd act with a minor and one count of possession of child pornography were read out to him in the presence of his attorney.

Klein pleaded not guilty to all charges and remains free until his scheduled court appearances on March 20 and April 10.

A statement given to Fuse by Klein's attorney states that the musician is not accused of any physical contact with the minors and that all charges relate to video chats he engaged in with females he met through an adult website and that the pornography charges relate to his possession of these videos.

Klein had been a member of the US pop-punk act (pictured above) since they formed in 1997. It's quite literally disgusting when a musician you've listened to and enjoyed the artwork of is accused of this. I guess it reminds us that they're just human, just simple people who don't necessarily deserve our adoration

That being said, as someone who has consistently spent time at hundreds of gigs in the last several years in a professional capacity, I have seen some young women at gigs who were far younger than they were claiming to be, well below legal age tempting these men for some stupid twisted adoration...and at the same time when you're put in that position you have this warped view that you can be just like Mick Jagger

It's all fantasy lads. Keep it in your pants and keep your mind on the music.
