Was in Tesco Douglas earlier clearing out the last of their old-type (8.2%ABV) Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. Noticed several whiskeys, including Chivas, on offer but wasn't on the hunt for whiskey so didn't take a mental note of the price. But it could well have been €32.

Thanks. Looks like store specific, some of them are clearing out old stock. Will drop down tomorrow to the local Tesco to see if they have any. Good price.

Dont be so touchy. Just asked a fair question. You were in the store you may know.

And by the way, I check the Tesco online before asking the question. Didnt see it there, hence the question.

Doesnt cost anything to be polite.

    Good Day!!

I wasn't being touchy, I just asked a simple question.

I was in a Tesco, I spotted a bargain and posted here for the benefit of anyone who might want to avail of it. There was no ambiguity in my post.

I'm aware politeness doesn't cost anything, that is evident by the fact that I posted a bargain I spotted so that others might avail of it.

How you phrased your question could actually be construed as impolite.

Ditto, your response to my question.

I hope you have a wonderful evening and a bountiful quest tomorrow.

I've previously picked it up in Tesco on clearance for €22.50 so I wouldn't have thought €32 is a clearance price.

Anyway, I really need to stay away from the place for the foreseeable; heaven knows how much I've spent snapping up tasty beer on clearance over the past two months!

There's usually a Lidl XXL week followed by Polish week some time around May / June, keep an eye out for that - the 8 Perlenbacher for €7.30 and Argus Strong for €1.50 are particularly good deals whenever this rolls around ;)

8 Perlenbacher for €7.30 is now on in Lidl,
Omni and Gullivers have €10 off €50 spend starting Monday 21st

    Beam me up Scotty.

Sadly the Granny’s is only avail in 330ml bottles. I asked brewer about this and they said could be available this autumn. Meanwhile they suggest asking local landlord to serve it on draught !!

We don't need no stinking sampler packs.

Have seen that leaflet, no stock in either store, hence why I rang today and told that it wasn't delivered to those, but would be on 31st.
