Supervalu have decent deals on Wodka. Finlandia 700ml is €20 and Eristoff 1l is €25.

Ment to post this two days ago when I got the deal so it might be over already but tesco dundrum had crested ten for €26. Jameson was also on offer for €27. Both 700ml bottles.

Is 300ml the new 330ml for bottles? I've stopped trusting bottle multipack deals lately, only go for cans now. The level of shrinkflation with bottles seems to have resulted in bottle crate "deals" sometimes working out more expensive than buying 10 or 15 individual bottles which haven't been reduced in size.

Is this essentially to absorb excise duty increases while hoping people don't notice they're getting less drink than they would have previously?

Yep that seems to be what they're at.

Bear in mind that many cans are also suffering from this - lots of 440ml cans around lately.

300ml seems to be just Budweiser, Bulmers and Carlsberg, not seen any others.

300ml is basically a trickle over half a pint. Id be spending half the night at the fridge drinking those ! You'd think the breweries would be better off changing the packaging from glass to plastic to save on costs of production rather than short changing the customer

Got Jameson 'Crested Ten' last week for €26 in Tesco or Dunnes, can't remember which. The offer might still be on.
