Also. ALDI have Schofferhofer Hefeweizen for €1.69 for 500ml, it's not far off Paulaner which sells around €2.85.

It's a steal at €1.69 if A good German beer is your thing

Im no expert but I know what I like and the Franzsikaner is very nice too, what does it regularly sell for in Lidl when not on special?

For me the Schoffer Hefe is closer to Paulaner Hefe

Not well ... I find Schofferhofer Hefeweizen a little light on flavour and heavy on carbonation.

Several 8 packs of cans for a tenner, including Guinness and Budweiser, possible Carlsberg too. Just saw them in Blanch about an hour ago

Really surprised and disappointed that Tesco aren't doing a 25% off 6 bottles this weekend. They usually do on bank holidays.

Still too many Lidl/Aldi vouchers in circulation, they'd be cleaned out.

Captain Morgans was €19.99 for 70cl bottle yesterday in O'Briens :)

Dunnes are only given 25% back in valueclub points. Supervalu have €10 off when you buy 6 offer and Tesco just have the few bottle on offer for €7 (Faustino Vii, Santa Rita, Eagle Hawk)

The 25% back in ValueClub points is in addition to the regular 5% off the price of 6 bottles or multiples thereof.

So a descent offer, especially for those of us with Dunnes shop & save vouchers.

Dunnes have 10 500ml cans of Guinness for a tenner. Using a spend and save means 40 cans for 40 euro. Nice one!

Edit above. I mean 8 cans

if ten cans are a tenner you don't need any voucher to get 40 cans for 40?

  • Registered Users Posts: 867 ✭✭✭laros

10 500ml cans of Guinness for a tenner

I think its 8 cans for a tenner.... so you would have to buy 5 packs of 8 to get 40 cans for €50 minus €10 voucher.

Tesco Naas (maybe other branches) ... this red wine is clearing at €4 per bottle - Yellow stickered on the bottles themselves - not the shelf price - approx 20 bottles there at 12pm-ish... probably fairly crap but at that price who cares.
