I'm fond of the gin so I'll see how it holds up to my Martinis and Gin & Tonics

Supervalue have a litre of Powers for €35 (Dunnes had it had €32 a couple of weeks ago, afaik this is about €5-€7 off).
Supervalue also have the Bushmills standard and honey whiskeys for €23, as do Aldi.
There were other SV offers but I didn't note them down

Bushmills Black Bush is €25 in O'Briens and O'Briens own branded whiskey is €20 - this is from Cooley afaik, it's a while since I had it but I remember it being somewhat similar to Kilbeggan.

Anyone know what the spiced rum in Lidl is like? Fan of captain Morgan myself so wouldn't mind finding a cheap alternative. It's the original Spoced captain Morgan by the way not the darker ones.

Its lovely with 7up.It has a vanilla taste. It tastes like cream soda .

update: still advertised at 1.89 each in Roscommon. In Athlone they are advertised at 6 for €9, bought 12 only charged €15, so they are scanning at 4 cans for €5 thanks op.

Last year there was some around June/July, not sure on exact dates but hope it's repeated this year.
