Embassy still my passport and i need it

    Hi, the title says it all really. I'm going to Prague with my class on Wednesday. I emailed them but haven't heard back yet. I tried ringing but I don't think they have a rep i can talk to.
    I left my passport in on Tuesday and am getting worried I wont be able to go now.
    Has anyone successfully got theirs back earlier?

    What embassy? Where? Why did you leave it with them?

    If it's the US embassy and part of a visa application, they are quite clear that there are several weeks between submitting your passport and getting it back from them through the mail.

    2 weeks seems to be about average these days. No guarantees though.
