    Hello,

Just getting to grips with editing video with WMM 2012.

Larger files take quite some time to 'prepare'.

To disable preparing I uncheck the box which says 'Prepare files for faster editing'

So will editing be slower if I disable 'preparing' ?

Will it effect the quality of the video file?

Are there any instances / file types where I should leave this function on and just sit and wait?

    Cheers
