    Hi,

Does anyone here have experience with the MSc's for information security in Ireland. I see DCU, UCD and IT Blanchardstown all have courses, and I am wondering which is the best, and whether anyone on boards.ie has any suggestions on their preferences and why?

    Thanks!

I've about 15 years experience with Web development. I started as a developer but the last 6 or 7 have been as a PM in a major international technology company. I got my CEH cert last year and now I am looking at making a move from Web development into Web security.

Given my experience with Web technologies that would be my preferred area.

I haven't done any of the three you've listed, but did complete the FCCI version of the UCD one and they overlap quite a bit as far as I'm aware. The security element of the course would be the most important element if I was starting out again, and I think it's a bigger part of the DCU and ITB courses. But you have the CEH done so that may not be so important to you.
The UCD courses are more focused on investigation. That said, you could do a security-related research project to balance it out.
Based on the core modules I think the DCU one looks most interesting.
