Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You should see the MoFo ones I made up for a bike today. ...

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Cars have 2 lights and they only put the fog light on 1 side, if you were to put a fog light on a bike it would look like the brake light was on all the time and could be dangerous

What? I think your confusing all those plonkers out there with only one working fog light? Or are you trying to say that rear fog lights in cars are visibly separate from the brake lights. Which would not be the case on a bike.

Any jeep/ car i've had only have 1 rear fog light, as well as most cars have a 3rd brake light so you can visibly see when brakes are applied, you wouldn't see when a bike brakes if fog lights were on

Interesting, every car I've owned has had two rear fogs.

I see your point doctor, afaik the reason most cars just have one is because in the UK the regulation is to have at least one and we get the same cars.

However I'd argue if a rear fog light is used correctly that shouldn't be an issue.

A rear fog should be on when you can see no-one behind you, when someone comes behind you and you can see them clear enough and they clearly know you are there fog should be switched off in which case brake light will be effective.

Regarding front fogs, not sure if as necessary, and if were to be added should be yellow, which doesn't dazzle as much and cuts through fog better.

edit: re Cuddlesworth: really? I had thought all or at least most cars also only had one

Good point with the turning fog light off, but i'd say 95% of drivers out there never do this.

Yep, even the Ford Puma which was a English Import had two.
