Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Arsenal have been muck

We are in trouble here. Really need to perk up or we will lose all 3 points never mind 1. Gnabry made for this.

Agreed Gnabry could be the missing for us today.

Spurs don't seem to have any interest in actually putting the ball in the net.

Is Wenger waiting for Spurs to score before making changes?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,458 ✭✭✭✭gandalf

Rosicky is our best chance of getting another, he's really fired up for this. Is Santi playing? I haven't seen him or even heard him being mentioned?

    Giroud not working too hard.

Well he isn't getting a lot of service to be fair to him.

I would sub Cazorla or Ox first to be honest.

Not sure Spurs have it in them to score despite all the possession.

God for a team who have possibly the best midfield in the premiership on paper we are playing pure muck there today!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,930 ✭✭✭COYW

Arsenal are like a boxer on the ropes here. They need to dig in here. Wow, 28 crosses to 2 in favour of Spurs.

Jeez we have been terrible lads. To the point that if Spurs score my disappointment will be tempered. Get Sanogo and Gnabry on.

NACHO oh ffs! He's trying to defend the single goal!

Two very tired looking teams out there. Look at the energy on show compared to Liverpool earlier.

Liverpool will have that problem next year when they are playing CL football.

Liverpool had 15 days rest before today. Hardly a surprise that they were flying.

Liverpool haven't played in ages though, over a week maybe?

edit: 15 days according to the above, that's one hell of a rest!

The passing and decision making has been shocking today. Has Cazorla actually contributed anything today?

Wenger is putting the shutters down,Vermaelen is on!

You hardly expect him to throw on Sanogo or Gnabry at this stage to chase a second goal.

Arsenal look very lethargic. Spurs deserve a goal here.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,930 ✭✭✭COYW

Arsenal has been so wasteful today with the ball. Hard to believe that they might go on to win this.

If we hold onto this it will a big achievement considering we sat back for most of the match

I have rarely seen Arsenal play so badly.
If we win it says a lot about Spurs.

A grim, dirty win but a win nonetheless.

    The treble over Spurs.
I must be a stone lighter though.
Dire performance but i'll take it.

Next season will be a massive shock to Liverpool. They don't really have much of a squad and they will be playing twice a week on a regular basis with the league cup and CL. The likes of Gerrard doesn't have that in him and Suarez won't get much of a rest with the WC; I think they will go far in that competition. Chelsea etc won't be as willing to loan them players too.

Job done by Arsenal. An ugly win if ever there was one. Feel sorry for Spurs. They put everything into that.

Good result especially considering the muck our midfield played.

Jesus being up againt the spurs offense is like being Gummed by a granny who lost her dentures, TOOTHLESS!

:D They are desperate in front of goal alright.

I think Chelsea will turn over Arsenal next week to be honest. I also wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Cardiff turn over Liverpool. Liverpool will be on cloud nine now, thinking they have a shot at the title. As we have seen before, they bottle it when they get to that point.
