Fun fact: The church in The Boondock Saints is actually a protestant church as no catholic church in Boston would let them film in it due to the violent nature of the film.

Side note I incude a twitted pic of page 1 from the script for Boondock Saints 3

No matter what people say about the Boondock Saints

What happened to the good ole days of Darby O'Gill and the Little People. You can't get more Irish.

Kids these days have no respect for tradition :(

    Boondock Saints is atrocious.

Much more entertaining is Overnight the documentary about Troy Duffy, the guy who made the film and how he successfully blew his chance at the big time by being a d*ckhead.

I am going say yes I have seen this and is about Boston brothers.

I do like Gary Oldman in it but.

Note: this is a Boondock Saints thread.

Wow. Wiki'd that after you posted and DL'd and watched. Amazing car crash spectacle.

It was like watching a six year old spitting into Santa's face!

I have the dvd years just never watched it.

Only spotted Duffy in one of the first scenes there the other night.

Just make the movie and stop making a big deal about it.

I must watch it one of theses days.

But in fairness he did stick to his guns and make the film he wanted which is rare.

    The Cast is quality.

The accents are terrible but the story is good.

I am sure we can agree that its not perfect but it is good.

Was referring to Overnight as car crash spectacle.

For sure TBS is extremely watchable even if flawed. And part of his payment was half a bar!

But did the Weinsteins and Miramax not offer him the bar and he refused in the end.

Can anyone help me rank these 3 films in order of hilarity:pac:

    The Boondock Saints
    Charlie Casanova
    Megaforce

Some films are so bad they're great...

    For sure it's bad.

    BUT

Yesterday I watched Overnight and TBS in that order and for the first time - because of the St. P's connection and what was posted here.

I was sure that TBS was going to be similar to Gilliam's Don Quixote after witnessing Duffy's actions - a potential masterpiece conspired against by fate!

An abomination in every regard IMO.

At least CC had ambition, although still unforgivably bad...

    1. The Boondock Saints
    2. Charlie Casanova
    3. The Room *new entry (for me, at least)
    4. Anton
    5. Megaforce.

That's my top five of films that are so bad you have to watch!:)

**All of the above are watched at your own risk and rockbeast accepts no responsibility or liability for any wasted hours...

I don't know. I laughed once or twice at how ridiculously sh*t it was but I walked out of the cinema after about an hour - it just wasn't worth wasting any more time on.

    You were the one:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Your homework for this week is to watch the other 4 on my list...

I don't want to be the only one;)
