Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lol still high after getting trashed to Liverpoo.
    Still high after being 7th.
Still high for never getting a chance to see europe again.
i don't understand why united fans getting so excited, its Olympiakos for FFS, they never won in Engpand.
I hope ye get through so some team could bring ye back down to yer limits.

Steven Gerard and many a Liverpool fan were ecstatic to beat Olympiacos once upon a time if I remember?
Suppose ye didnt watch it and celebrate because it was "Olympiacos ffs"

Actually you probably didn't watch it because you're clearly about 8 years old :pac:

Why does George Hamilton keep saying that Utd will have to score twice if Olympiakos score?

Olimpiacos dominating since the third goal

That would be Moyes tactics all over. Hold what you've got mentality.

They really are. Probably the worst goalkeeper and back 4 I've seen in the knockout stages of any CL.

I love this. Worst standard of Premier League ever last year too was it?

This clown doing the commentary, twice he's said if Olympiakos score United have to score twice, muppet

To be honest I think it's the right change. Gain more control in the middle of the park allows more freedom for the attackers to attack.

Good time to wrestle control back from Olympiacos.

United do need to score twice

No they dont. If Olympiacos score, it becomes 3-3. Obviously if United then score it'll be 4-3.

Even though I've been defensive of him this season, bringing on Fletcher and Young over someone who can keep the ball at a very high standard says a lot about Moyes, depressingly so.

These guys just dont understand away goals.

They think away goals is 2 goals ... or 1.5 goals ...

Someone should just sit them down and say : Aggregate score higher goals ALWAYS wins

United do need to score twice
No they don't. Away goals mean nothing once you're winning on aggregate.

United do need to score twice
We need to score once if we do concede...

Olympiacos score — it's 3-3 on agg, Olympiacos win on away goals.
Then United score once — it's 4-3, we go through on agg.

United do need to score twice

No they don't, if both teams score Utd have more goals on agg so away goals do not count.

Very interesting to see body language of Utd, just there Olympiakos spread ball right,Rooney sprints to cover Evra after Fletcher spots Evra isn't tracking back and signs to Rooney to move.

Olympiakos will be furious with themselves at the end here. Inaccuracy at both ends costing them a quarter final place. They were more than good enough to do it.

It's shocking as it's not like the offside rule with changing rules and interpretations.
System has been the same for years.

It's not often I like Sky but I'm thankful for them every night I don't need to watch RTE for CL footage.

Utd a very lucky to be going thru I reckon but job done all the same. That third goal was bizzarely poor goalkeeping . Oly really threw it away
