    I put 20 in,then drive it till the kms left indicator says ominously "---",then I drive another 30 km,then when the last of the 12 bars disappears,I grudgingly put another score in it.

    Fill the tank. My car takes about another 4 liters after the first click.

    Drive until the range is about 0 which normally is between 600 and 750 kilometers. Repeat.

    My car apparently has a 72 liter fuel tank. My record is a 73.73 liter fill with the above method. Have yet to be stranded but working on it.

    Edit. This got me interested and it appears I actually have a 75 liter tank and several people have gotten between 78 and 80 liters in the tank. So I can actually stretch my fueling intervals even further Sweet.

    Fill her up all the time, run until near empty. Always seems to be near empty though.
