Forget looking on-line, no one's gonna take a booking like that automatically.

Ring places, and be prepared to put up a hefty behaviour bond. You might find that places become a lot more receptive after that.

Savoy Hostel on Eglinton Street is brand new so they should be craving large bookings.

Wherever you go book it in separate smaller groups.

Do you want cheap price and be able to make some noise?
If NOT try HHouse hotel or Eyre Sq hotel.
If Yes then kinlay or similar. Say it's a golf outing.

No one is going to believe that a bunch of 20 lads is coming to galway for a golf trip! Best bet is a low key hostel or else everyone should book a hotel seperately as no good hotel will want a stag group of 20 coming

If its a stag a lot of hotels wont take booking so either book separately or else go with apartments or hostel bookings. There's apartments top of Eyre square across from county council buildings Google Galway city guesthouse, there's also sleepzone hostel and snoozles. I stayed in snoozles for a hen last year and it was perfect for a night out in galway walking distance into eyre square and that's in heels. I'm staying at sleepzone in May for a night out cant give feedback as this is my first time to stay there but I've heard good feedback from friends. Theres also apartments at back of western hotel that they rent, these are all a 5 min stroll if that to Eyre Square

Even hostels will want a behaviour bond. And don't do the booking separately lark, they will cop when you check in (even if you're all in your 40s as the Gormet Tart Facebook page said).

Man up and put up the bond, if you're all well behaved you'll get it back.
