Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Considering buying a refurbed (Grade B) Dell laptop from Refreshedbyus.com. Just wondering what opinion is on refurbs in general, Grade B refurbs, and has anyone else bought from this company? Do people think it's decent for the price? Link below.

Personally I woudn't go near it. 2GB RAM and a 250GB hd? Pretty shoddy even at that price I reckon. I'd say in two months you'd be wanting to throw it out the window.

^ Option to upgrade to 4gb + 500gb for £300, which was more what I was interested in. Forgot to mention, sorry.

You can get this Asus new for less

Or the refurbs on this page are better as well.

Thanks. Any thoughts on my other questions, ie. the idea of buying a refurb and specifically a grade B?

Pot luck I suppose. No reason a refurb wouldn't last a decent length of time.
