Now - That's hotels covered, Meals covered - Next if only go to one show - What would it be and approximately how much and where is best to get them?

Heard a show "absinthe" being mentioned on another thread...

There's plenty of discount ticket sellers on the strip. Have a look at what they're offering. Better there than full price unless you absolutely HAVE to see a particular show

yeah that's what ill probably do - wouldn't mind catching a comedian of some kind - myself and the missus would probably enjoy that more than some fancy magic or circus act that we wouldn't even wathc on tv tbh!

So booked the Aria for the 3 nights - got it for €377 excluding resort fees - pretty happy with it to be honest!!! Thanks for all the advice guys.

Does the €377 include the city tax? that can add another 15% on the cost of the room.

    Just back from Vdara

Went to see the Cirque du Soleil show O. Join the MGM Mlife programme and you will get 20% discount if you buy your tickets at the hotel.

There is a really nice and not too expensive Thai restaurant in Aria and a really good Tapas restaurant also.

Saw the queues for the buffets, madness

Room & tax included - resort fees payable locally. So looks good except for 32dollar a night fee.

Now next up - Has anyone ever got a limo from the airport - Like the sound of suprising the wife with one - Is it better to pre book or can you get one over there cheaper? Thansk

I did with my mates but there was 14 of us and we all just threw in $10 each and it covered the cost plus the tip. Big stretched Hummer! Unreal craic shouting and roaring on the way down the strip.

If you're looking to impress the missus, pre-book it and they'll be there with your name waiting for you.

Just note that the strip is 5-10 minutes from the airport so you won't be in there long. We booked a limo tour a couple of years ago for 3 hours or so to see the sites. No problem bringing your own drink on board. Was great craic

Most limos are hired by the hour so if you do book one, ask the driver to bring you around Vegas. If you're on the strip all the time though, traffic sucks. Get off the strip and see some of the surrounding neighbourhoods/mountains/downtown.

getting close now - 2 weeks fri!! Any suggestions were to go for low limit BJ or roulette - 10 dollar would be ok - seems Aria only does the high limit of €25 and over...heading to freemont street anyway so im sure so ok limits down there ut looking for more main strip places?

A lot of casinos will change the limits depending on the time of day. But I think generally you'll find the lower limits on fremont street.

Very few low limit BJ tables on the strip offering 3:2 payouts. Best stay close to Freemont IMHO for 3:2 tables.

The Stratosphere is great value for BJ and Roulette, often have 5 dollar mins on BJ and 1 dollar inside and 5 outside. The Tropicana is normally pretty good for low stakes games too.

On Friday and Saturday nights, most casinos will up the stakes, and the tables will be packed.

best craic I had playing low limit BJ was in Hooters. Few years ago now but plenty of $5 and $10 tables during the day (3:2 mostly). Planet Hollywood had a few $10 tables late at night too. Definitely won't have a problem finding tables on Fremont St

Not exactly breaking news here but the more the casino/resort thinks of itself, the higher the minimums.

NYNY has $5 blackjack all day everyday. Tables fill up quick though so you may be waiting a while to play lower limits.
