I make that 6 wins, 7 draws and 11 losses against good opposition. Arsenal had something to play for in all of them while there were times when the opposition had nothing to play for (dead rubbers against Munich, United last year having won the league). Results haven't been great for a while, the run of fixtures at the end of last season and start of this season made a massive difference.

Pedantic about the yards off the line but it has been mentioned on here a few times. Deliberate hand ball is a yellow card offence not a red. To deny a goal scoring opportunity from hand ball the ball has to be going in surely ?

He didn't see it in real time. He made no reaction to indicate a penalty until he was harrassed by the Chelsea players. He further proved he didn't see it by sending off the wrong player.

What I don't understand is that we played great against bayern Munich who played a lot better then Chelsea today yet Chelsea have destroyed us and we have been terrible. A complete joke today. That Chelsea team is designed to play primarily on the counter attack with pace and Wenger duly obliges by playing a high line with 2 slow centre backs and a midfield with zero protection.
