I'm guessing Cardiff will play quite deep so there won't be as much space for Sterling to run in behind. Coutinho might be better at finding passes if it's congested in the middle.

It's a squad game though and I'd imagine it's been pointed out the importance of him to the team.

He's as important as anyone. This is good man management comes in and it seems that is a strong point of Rodgers

I think that is something that is needed in today's game. Strong player management to make them all feel important and part of the team.

Sterling is young and a very important part of the team so I expect to see him in nearly every game when he is fit in one form or another.
