Nice one from Hazel Irvine on the BBC coverage: said that Neil Robertson was only the third person ever to win the World Championship who wasn't from the United Kingdom. So, that would be Robertson from Australia, Cliff Thorburn from Canada, and Horace Lindrum also from Australia back in 1952. Hopefully she's talking about the modern era only ... otherwise our Ken has been co-opted into the UK.

Did someone just fall off their chair in one of the commentary rooms there

Both players getting very nervy now......

    Delighted for Selby.

Is it best of 35 now?

Is it possible for Ronnie to (in theory, obviously) win tomorrow with two sessions to spare?

Working tomorrow evening, would hate to miss the climax!

What's the story with Robertons hair? Does he wear a wig? I heard he used to be a ginger curly.

Would be nice to Selby win it out considering he was tagged as a potential winner since his 8 ball win and turning pro. 30 years of age now, a good time to fulfill his potential.

Ronnie equalling Davis's 6 is another permutation, a good game ahead I say. :pac:

Not so sure, Ronnie is a very heavy favorite but if Selby can slow this match down and grind I think he has a chance, all be it an outside chance.

    Excellent 69 break from Ronnie.

What a start from ronnie. To make 69 from that table was pure class. Some of the pinks he made look so easy

Needs to make the most of these opportunities, can't imagine they'll come along too often

Edit: had to open my big mouth :/

Unpredictable Ronnie again, different class but his concentration leaves him down at times. Still one of the greatest ever and will go on to win this easily, luckily it's only selby today.

    Selby, making amateur mistakes

Boring, predictable, never dictates the game, always chasing. Does that suffice as a no?

  • Registered Users Posts: 179 ✭✭AlwaysAnyTime

Does Selby need to force a foul to take this frame?

Poor from Mark there, he hasn't settled at all.
