    Hard to believe the scoreline.

Steve Peters might need to earn his crust at the mid-session interval if ronnie doesnt win this one!

I find Selby excruciatingly boring to watch. Ronnie needs a frame soon.

Disagree. This is great to watch. Playing good safety now and pulling out a few good pots. Great stuff.

It's gone to be very ugly snooker now with Selby trying to grind out a win. It's going to be a long day watching this if Ronnie doesn't get back to the table soon!

Dont blame selby at all for trying to win the match the only way he thinks he can. NOt my favorite player by any means, but comes across as a thoroughly good bloke and wouldn't begrudge him a world title at all

no point ronnie making it open when selbys doing all the potting

I dont think there's anything wrong with the way Selby plays. Snooker isnt all about potting balls, its about making life as difficult as possible for your opponent, create opportunities and take them when they come along. Selby is playing superb match play snooker. Great for the purists.

    Excellent pot from Ronnie.

Better from ronnie but still only 12 from it

bit silly the way the video ref is waving hands trying to communicate

you'd think he'd have an earpiece or something

Why don't they just have a laser above the table which pinpoints the previous location of the ball.....eh

I don't think he can blame someone coughing for that. it was miles off.

You'd think spectators would have the cop on not to cough when a shot is being taken. Its not that hard.

or the ref could just have something like an ipad that shows the ball positions.

Maybe it was one of those really tickly ones at the back of the throat that you can't hold in.

can ronnie play those shots or what

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,890 ✭✭✭tomdempsey200

    O'Sullivan is way to wreckless.

    Selby taking full advantage.

Have to see that shot again, didnt look that difficult to get white behind the black

Yeah. When they first started showing the overlay of where all the balls were on the tv years ago, the first thing that came to my mind was there should be a projector over the table that overlays that image of all the balls positions on to the table.

not even putting in the effort now Sullivan

This sort of snooker doesn't suit Ronnie at all. He is only interested in getting up and making big breaks. When he can't do that, he quickly loses interest and starts banging them about.

is dennis taylor getting a break from commentary soon

    hopefully

6 in a row. Incredible stuff from Selby.

    O'Sullivan visibly crumbling.

11-10 Selby. Scrappy frame needed 4 or 5 visits to wrap it up. Missed a few balls too. Some good pots from Ronnie. Thought he was gona get going.

Selby misses yet another frame ball albeit a difficult one into the middle and nearly let Ronnie in

Abut of a rash shot on black from Ronnie. Temper is beginning to show
