He needed to pot the black in order to be able to win the frame. Pink would've allowed him to tie.

Good man Selby, keep those Ronnie fanatics quiet for a while.
I think people go a bit overboard on Ronnie, not just people her but commentaters etc. If he pots a good shot people rave about how unbelievable he is and thats why he's the best in the world ever blah blah blah.
However if it's Selby there's no big deal made of it.
