They tend to go on much longer than usual with Selby playing :D

This frame is moving nicely along however

Ronnie's safety is a hell of a lot better than this, usually. Infact, I dont think Selbys is playing his best safety stuff atm.

Whispering Ted died in 2011, I think it was. The voice of snooker when I was growing up. Also used to like Clive Everton's commentary, dunno what happened to him

    "Where's the cueball going?"

That must be 7 or 8 times O'Sullivan has potted the cue ball in this final. Can't remember Selby doing it once.

That's not a joke. He said it himself years ago. He may have been joking though!

Sure I remember Hunter saying he had a bit of action during the 15 minute mid session interval with his woman. Think it was the masters when he was getting well bet, came out after the interval relaxed and won it!

I guess no player will ever have their A-game on show over an entire four sessions...impossible really. Probably come down to who gets closest when it comes to the crunch

I reckon the tables are going to turn slowly here

with the crucible nerves coming into play

Clive Everton just got sacked by the bbc, claimed himself it was due to stuff he had written about senior snooker officials and was very bitter about it. Think they replaced him with hendry

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 287 ✭✭cack_handed

I should say clive was made redundant as opposed to being sacked...if there's a subtle difference! Sadly missed imo
