    Have a missed call from a withheld number at 12.11, hanging on a thread here, if they call back and it's that PPI call I keep getting from a Mumbai call centre I'm getting on a plane ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

    If you have voicemail they leave a message asking you to return the call.

    Just out of a matter of interest when did you all do the medical? I know someone from here got in and his was 1st week of May. Mine was 2nd. Not exact dates but roughly

    Don't think so, they're in batches 5 weeks apart so far matching the GV intakes every 5 weeks, am I right guys? They're only dealing with one intake at a time.

    Feeling very much the same as you. Really can't be arsed with anything now today. Big bar of chocolate and feel sorry for myself tonight, then the wait begins tomorrow!!

    Don't think they'll deviate from the 5 weeks. The PSNI recruitment rep told me that at a recent information day

    Still debating whether to apply again or not, this waiting and uncertainty is just mental torture when they could just as easily say youve no job at the end of it all, its at the stage now where its having an effect on life both at home and in work with me being so preoccupied. Yes i know the saying that if u work hard enough for something you will get it etc but when it goes on for 8/9 months..........i just wish they could say to folk waiting that a call is coming rather than leaving folk in limbo, another 5 week wait is going to wreck me....
