Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

See above. The league isn't the only thing in the season you know ;)

OK then where is the 'no, not by a long shot' coming from?

and keep in mind the title of this thread.

Include others then, but reflect it as a % of games played and they will still be ahead then. PSG have played more games than Liverpool this season.

11 goals is a lot of goals. And if the title is "EPL", then why did you mention Europe?

That I agree with, although it's very marginal and depends on your definition of "top".

    my last post on this...

go back and read my reply about why it was painful for someone to add Sturridge to their team, especially when Suarez was already in it.

my reply (inc European players) was a direct reply to yours.

    *cough

#1 Luis Suarez (28) and Daniel Sturridge (19) - 47 goals in total.

#2 Cristiano Ronaldo (26) and Karim Benzema (17). 43 goals

    #3
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (25) and Edinson Cavani (14). 39 goals.

    #4
Lionel Messi (21) and Alexis Sanchez (17). 38 goals

    #5
Diego Costa (23) and David Villa (13) - 36 goals

    #6
Sergio Agüero (15) and Yaya Toure (16) - 31 goals.

    #7
Mario Mandzukic (17) and Thomas Muller (12) - 29 goals.

    #8
    Carlos Tevez (16) - Fernando Llorente (11). 27 goals.

    #9
Wayne Rooney (13) – Robin Van Persie (11). 24 goals

You forgot Soriano has 26 and Alan has 24 (50) for Salzburg

Why is it only league goals too? Seems bizarre.

I think you have me mixed up with someone else there, I didn't mention Europe to you until you did.

It doesn't suit his argument otherwise ;)

All of those comparisons across leagues are flawed in many ways anyhow. Personally I'd rather just enjoy great footballers than compare the slim margins between the players in their positions.

Surprising lack of Mata tbh, I mean how can the best signing of the season not be in the team of the season?

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

What sort of medals do they get for being the bestest partnership in Europe (minus Austria and only including league goals)?

David Silva should be featured a lot more...opposition for his area is something else but on his day he's the best midfielder in the league and he's proved that at times all year...been consistently brilliant as well this season

Has Branislav Ivanovic played a single game at CB for Chelsea this year? Professional footballers should probably know where they play....

Not in the league anyway, Terry, Cahill and Luiz have been the CBs used this season, Rafa used Ivan at CB last year a few times and he was piSS poor whenever hes played at CB too.
