    I have recently changed from an iPhone 4s to a Galaxy S4 but whenever my girlfriend tries to text me from her 4s it sends as an iMessage even though I'm not using the iPhone and have restored all factory settings on it.

    Is there a way to stop her phone from sending messages to me as an iMessage without turning off iMessaging altogether??

    Thanks

    So the problem is that iCloud still thinks you have an iPhone, so it tells her phone to send you iMessages.

    You can put your SIM back into the iPhone and turn off iMessage, but you can also fix it without the phone;
