Hi I might be in line for redundancy. I currently owe 112k and have about 18 years left on the term. I am on std variable rate. My current monthly rate is 760. If I paid off 70k of the mortgage how much would that bring down my monthly repayments by?

    Hi bitethebullet,

    Many thanks for your post.

We have a Mortgage Overpayment Calculator that can help with your query. You can find this here

You can also view detailed information on ways to make extra payments to your mortgage.

If you have any questions on this, a Mortgage Advisor in your local branch will be more than happy to help. A full list of branch contact numbers can be found here

    Thanks

    Billy
